G.SHDSL October 01, 2001
Moving-Edge.net is pleased to announce the release of our new G.SHDSL service in Brighton. We will be providing the live service from October 2001 and we are now taking orders. Lead-times will be approximately 25 working days.
The service uses very similar technology to the now well-known ADSL and is also provided via a single twisted copper pair line, however it can be considered a more reliable, flexible and functional service than ADSL in a number of respects.
Our G.SHDSL service is contended at a maximum ratio of 16:1 but depending or the service ordered can be as low as 1:1. All our G.SHDSL services run at 2Mbps. The only restriction is the number of people you are sharing with. In effect this means that you get a symmetrical, guaranteed leased line of 128K, 512k, 1Mb or 2Mb with the ability to burst to 2Mb when the bandwidth is available. All our services come with a full service level guarantee.
